Main Menu:
Here you will see here is your regular old menu. Not much right? You’ll notice you have your single player, multiplayer and WFC modes. We’ll here is one of my complaints, not sure if you’ll agree. But now when you play the Grand Prix…..it’s strickly single player now. Other than that you can still play battle mode and race with your friends. The WFC mode allows you and upto one other player to go online on your wii to connect to upto 10 additional players from around the world. Not bad right?
Character Select:
Here you start off with a hand full of characters and each having access to 6 vehicles…3 karts, 3 bikes. Bikes being the new feature here. Next you’ll notice that there is an option for Manual or Automatic. This is not mean you’ll have to switch gears if you pick Manual. To put it simple….if you liked the controls in Mario Kart 64 better than Mario Kart: Double Dash, go with Manual. You’ll be able to jump and power slide. If you liked Mario Kart: Double Dash more….go with the automatic and you’ll slide by yourself and will lose the ability to jump.
Single Player Grand Prix:
I’ll let you be the judge…..
Battle Mode (Balloon):
Again, here is the Manual/Automatic thing I mentioned earlier. Note the preview……
Here you’ll have a very nice set of tracks. You’ll notice new and old. Much better than the GCN Mario Kart: Double Dash. I’m glad they went back to their roots on this one folks!
Battle Mode (Coin):
The objective here is to get more coins than the other team before the clock runs out.
Nintendo WFC:
This is what you’ll get when you connect online to play. Notice the lack of lag here……I picked Worldwide on purpose so that you could see that there is no lag. What does this mean? GREAT FUN FOR YOU AND ME MY FRIEND!!!
Like I said….
THIS GAME ROCKS!!!

It’ll also have the ability to make the most of the by-then established Xbox IPTV service, which will mean recording TV shows to its vast 320GB hard disk and watching live TV shows via your broadband provider.

Many of you may or may not know. I used to run a website way back when I was in high school (freshman to be exact) at Geocities. This was way before the ad’s and Yahoo! came along. My site was called Codes n’ Stuff. It featured many codes for all of the then current home consoles. The latest being N64. The reason I’m bringing all this up is because I’m going back to my original persona, which is Cyber-Rain. So if you see my name online….say hey!
